CFOs On the Move: Week ending Oct. 31

Adam Elinoff | Agilent Technologies

Adam Elinoff was appointed chief financial officer of scientific instruments maker Agilent Technologies, effective Nov. 17. Elinoff joins Agilent from biotechnology company Amgen, where he has held leadership roles for a total of 19 years, most recently as vice president of finance and treasurer. Elinoff was previously the regional CFO for Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Latin America and Canada at Amgen in Switzerland. He also held finance leadership roles at Shire Pharmaceuticals and International Rectifier. Elinoff succeeds interim CFO Rodney Gonsalves, who will continue to serve as vice president, corporate controller and principal accounting officer. Gonsalves took over as interim CFO on July 31 to replace Bob McMahon, who was named chief financial officer of West Pharmaceutical Services.

Paul Todd | Fiserv

Payments firm Fiserv is undergoing a leadership shakeup, replacing its finance chief and adding new directors after it missed earnings forecasts and cut its outlook. Paul Todd, who previously was CFO of payments technology company Global Payments, was named Fiserv’s new chief financial officer, effective Oct. 31. Before Global Payments, he spent over 11 years at payments company TSYS, most recently as CFO. Todd succeeds Robert Hau, who will transition to a senior adviser role through the first quarter of 2026.

Kevin Boone | CSX

Railroad operator CSX named Kevin Boone as executive vice president and CFO. Boone joined CSX in 2017 as vice president of corporate affairs and was most recently executive vice president and chief commercial officer. He previously served as CFO for two years between 2019 and 2021 while the company navigated supply chain challenges brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic. Before joining CSX, he spent nearly two decades in the investment industry, specializing in finance, accounting and M&A. Boone replaces Sean Pelkey, who has left the company. Pelkey joined the company in 2005 and has been CFO since 2022.

Paul Kuehneman | Hormel Foods

Hormel Foods named Paul Kuehneman as interim chief financial officer and controller. Kuehneman has been with the company since 1993 and has held several leadership roles throughout his tenure, including as director of internal audit. He was also previously CFO and vice president of Jennie-O Turkey Store, a subsidiary of Hormel Foods, for over five years. He was most recently vice president and controller. Kuehneman succeeds Jacinth Smiley, who is leaving the company. Smiley joined Hormel in April 2021 and has been its finance chief since November 2021.

Kathryn Eskandarian | OnPhase

OnPhase, an AI-powered financial automation and payments solutions provider, named Kathryn Eskandarian as finance chief. Eskandarian has worked at the lease management and lease accounting platform Visual Lease for the last eight years, most recently as CFO. She was previously the global controller at technology and advisory consulting company Avaap and held controller roles at talent acquisition technology firm iCIMS and financial services and strategic advisory business Geller. 

Mala Murthy, CFO of TriNet

Mala Murthy | TriNet

Mala Murthy will join HR services firm TriNet as its new chief financial officer on Nov. 28. Murthy was most recently Teladoc Health’s finance chief. Before that, she held senior executive positions at American Express for over seven years, including as CFO of its global commercial services segment. Earlier, she held FP&A, treasury and corporate development and strategy leadership positions with PepsiCo. Murthy succeeds Kelly Tuminelli, who has held the role for the past five years. Tuminelli will transition to the role of special adviser.

Charlie Wickers | Preply

Global language-learning marketplace Preply hired Charlie Wickers as its new chief financial officer. For the last eight years, Wickers has worked at Rover, an online marketplace for pet care, most recently as CFO. Wickers played a key role in navigating major financial milestones during his tenure at Rover, including its public listing and its subsequent take-private acquisition by Blackstone in 2024. Wickers earlier held leadership roles at several enterprise software companies and was part of the team that took Clearwire public and through its sale to Sprint, now T-Mobile.

JoAnne Halligan | Trinity Investments

Private real estate investment firm Trinity Investments appointed JoAnne Halligan as CFO. Halligan joins Trinity from Oaktree Capital Management, where she has worked for over 11 years in several finance leadership roles. Halligan was most recently managing director of real estate fund accounting and led finance, accounting and operations for Oaktree’s real estate platform. Earlier roles at Oaktree include senior vice president and head of real estate fund accounting and senior vice president. She started her career in public accounting with KPMG. Halligan succeeds Kevin Hayashi, who has retired after over 28 years at Trinity.
