Panera Bread named Earl Ellis as finance chief of the fast casual restaurant chain. Ellis was most recently CFO of ABM Industries. He previously held senior finance leadership roles at Canadian Tire, Campbell Soup Company, Kraft Foods, Coca-Cola and Best Buy, including as CFO of Best Buy Canada and U.S. senior vice president of finance. Ellis also serves on the Board of Directors of global water technology company Xylem. He succeeds Megan Mikolaichik, who has been interim chief financial officer since January 2025 after its CFO, Paul Carbone, was promoted to CEO. 

Seun Sodipo | Plaid

Plaid named Seun Sodipo as chief financial officer of the fintech. Sodipo joined the company from beauty brand Glossier, where she has been CFO for the last four years. Before that, she worked at payment platform Stripe, most recently as the head of product finance and strategy. Sodipo started her career in investment banking at Centerview Partners and later was a private equity investor at Helios Investment Partners and Insignia Capital Group. Sodipo succeeds Eric Hart, the company’s first CFO. Hart left Plaid in May to return to his former employer, Expedia, as its chief strategy, business and corporate development officer.

Healy joins the company from Bloomin’ Brands, the parent company of Outback Steakhouse, Carrabba’s Italian Grill and Bonefish Grill, where he was most recently CFO and executive VP of global business development. During his 16-year tenure at Bloomin’, Healy held several roles, including as president of Bonefish Grill and CFO of Outback Steakhouse. Before that, he worked at Circuit City, most recently as director of corporate planning.

Pentair, a water treatment company, promoted Nick Brazis to finance chief. Brazis will take over the top finance spot on March 1, 2026, from Bob Fishman, who will leave the company after six years. Nick Brazis has been with the company since 2023 and is currently vice president of corporate development and treasury. On Nov. 1, he will transition into the role of senior vice president of finance. Before joining the company, Brazis held roles as VP and senior vice president at Daikin Applied in North America, a commercial and industrial HVAC solutions provider. He earlier held leadership roles at Resideo, 3M and Caterpillar.

D. Anthony Scaglione was appointed chief financial officer of Flowers Foods, the packaged bakery food producer that includes brands Nature’s Own and Dave’s Killer Bread. Scaglione has previously held several CFO roles, including at wine, spirits and beer retailer Total Wine & More, global B2B office equipment and services company ODP and global services company ABM Industries. Scaglione will take over as CFO on Jan. 1, 2026, from Steve Kinsey, who is retiring. Kinsey has been with the company for 26 years and has spent the last 18 years as chief financial officer. He will continue with the company in an advisory role after his retirement.

Lisa Price | Hyper Solutions

Hyper Solutions, a mission-critical digital infrastructure manufacturer, appointed Lisa Price as finance chief. Price started working with Hyper Solutions earlier this year as a strategic advisor, where she collaborated with leadership on long-term growth planning and financial direction. She earlier held senior positions in a wide range of industries, including at GE, Alvarez & Marsal, Goldman Sachs and Deutsche Bank. While at GE, she led its $2.6 billion sale of Industrial Solutions to ABB and built GE China’s business development efforts while living in Shanghai.

Fallon Gorman is returning to the CFO seat at AI consulting company NLP Logix. She will also take on the role of president. Since 2022, Gorman has been chief operating officer of the company. She joined NLP in 2019 as chief financial officer from sustainability software maker AMCS Group, where she was vice president of services and customer success for North America. 

Julie Peffer | Mission Critical Group

Julie Peffer was hired as the chief financial officer of Mission Critical Group, a critical power infrastructure company. Peffer was most recently CFO of BigBear.ai, a role she held for over three years before leaving in June. Earlier roles included CFO of health care analytics company MedeAnalytics, vice president of finance of Amazon Web Services and vice president of finance of pumps, valves and seals manufacturer Flowserve. She also serves as a Board Member of the oil and gas services company Nine Energy Service.
