
Marcela Martin | Contentsquare
Digital analytics platform Contentsquare named Marcela Martin as its new finance chief. Martin was previously president of the digital media company Buzzfeed. She earlier held CFO roles at Booking.com and Squarespace, where she led the company through its initial public offering. Before that, she spent three years as CFO, chief administrative officer and executive VP at National Geographic Partners. Martin has held several leadership roles at Fox International Channels, including as CFO and executive VP, during an 18-year tenure. She replaces Benoit Fouilland, who will step down from his executive role at the end of November and will join the company’s Board of Directors.
Robert Ball | Abercrombie & Fitch
Abercrombie & Fitch promoted Robert Ball to chief financial officer. Ball has worked at the retailer for nearly 22 years, most recently as senior vice president of corporate finance, investor relations and treasury. He was earlier CFO of the Abercrombie & Fitch and Abercrombie Kids brands and held roles in financial reporting, financial planning and analysis and corporate finance. Before joining the company in 2003, he started his career as a financial advisor at Merrill Lynch. Scott Lipesky, who was the company’s CFO since 2017, was promoted to chief operating officer in May 2023.

Matt Garth | ScottsMiracle-Gro
Matt Garth, CFO of ScottsMiracle-Gro, will leave exit from the role on Dec. 31 as part of a larger leadership shakeup. Garth, who has been finance chief of the lawn-care products maker for the last two years, will also leave his role as chief administrative officer. Mark Scheiwer, the company’s vice president and treasurer, will become interim CFO and chief accounting officer on Jan. 1, 2025. Scheiwer has over 13 years of experience in various finance leadership roles at ScottsMiracle-Gro. The search for a permanent CFO has started and it will consider internal and external candidates.
Ran Shalev | Freightos
CFO Ran Shalev is leaving Freightos, a digital booking and payment platform for the international freight industry, on Dec. 31 for a new role. Shalev has been Freightos’ CFO since 2016, overseeing its financial operations during a transformative period that included its public listing on Nasdaq. The company has started its search for his successor. Shalev has agreed to actively assist with ongoing operations following his departure and with handover throughout Q1.

Kevin Krumm | Flex
Kevin Krumm will join manufacturing company Flex as its new finance chief on Jan. 6. Krumm was most recently chief financial officer of APi Group, a business services provider of safety and specialty services. Before APi Group, he worked at Ecolab for 15 years in several roles of increasing responsibility, including corporate treasurer and senior vice president of global financial shared services. Krumm replaces interim CFO Jaime Martinez, who will stay with Flex to support the transition.
David Jackola | APi Group
David Jackola will take over as APi Group’s interim chief financial officer. Jackola steps in for departing finance chief Kevin Krumm, who will leave the company on Dec. 15. The company has started its search for Krumm’s permanent successor. Before his current role as CFO and vice president of transformation at APi International, Jackola was vice president, controller and chief accounting officer of APi Group.

Andrew Emerson | IDEXX Laboratories
IDEXX Laboratories, a pet diagnostic and software products maker, named Andrew Emerson as chief financial officer, effective March 1. Emerson joined IDEXX in Nov. 2015 and has led its finance organization for the corporate and companion animal group business since that time. Before IDEXX, he was vice president of finance and business unit controller at healthcare technology provider Medtronic. Emerson succeeds Brian McKeon, who is retiring. McKeon will transition to executive vice president and special advisor to the company from March 1 until his retirement on June 1, 2025.
