David Denton | Nike
David Denton will become Nike‘s executive vice president and CFO on Aug. 17. He joins from Pfizer, where he has served as CFO and executive vice president since May 2022. Denton previously led finance at Lowe’s and spent nearly two decades at CVS Health, including as CFO. He succeeds Matthew Friend, who will remain in an advisory role through Sept. 4 following the transition.
Steve Cirulis | Wendy’s
After leading Potbelly Sandwich Works as chief financial officer and chief strategy officer since 2020, Steve Cirulis is taking on the same titles at Wendy’s. Earlier in his career, he held senior strategy and finance roles at Panera Bread, McDonald’s and Gap. He succeeds Ken Cook, who has served as CFO since 2024 and will remain in an advisory role through July.
Pranav Sood | Airwallex
Pranav Sood is returning to fintech company Airwallex as CFO after spending the past year and a half as an operating partner at Bain Capital. Before leaving Airwallex in late 2024, he spent more than two years leading the company’s Europe, Middle East and Africa business as executive general manager, overseeing regional expansion and serving briefly as interim global head of marketing. Earlier, he held leadership positions at GoCardless after years with Bain & Company.
Sudhanshu Priyadarshi | Planet Fitness
After helming the finance department at Keurig Dr Pepper, Sudhanshu Priyadarshi has joined Planet Fitness as CFO and president of international. He earlier held finance and operating leadership roles at Flexport, Walmart, PepsiCo, Cipla and Vista Outdoor. Priyadarshi was previously interviewed by CFO.com about leading finance as a business “co-pilot.”
Eduardo Amato | STS Aviation Group
Veteran finance executive Eduardo Amato has been named CFO of STS Aviation Group. He most recently served as CFO of Marine Repair Services-Container Maintenance Corp. and previously held CFO roles at American Elevator Group and Schindler Elevator Corp. Canada. Amato also spent several years in finance leadership positions with Schindler in the U.S.
Joe Joseph | DHL Group
After more than a decade as CFO of DHL Express, Joe Joseph has been appointed CFO of DHL Group, effective June 1, 2027. Joseph has spent more than 28 years with DHL Express, holding finance leadership positions across the Middle East, Asia and Europe before assuming the CFO role in 2014. He will succeed Melanie Kreis, who will step down when her contract expires on May 31, 2027, after serving as DHL Group’s CFO since 2016.
Francisco Espinosa | DHL Express Mexico
DHL Express Mexico has named Francisco Espinosa CFO. Espinosa arrives after a brief tenure as CFO of Transportes Lipu and nearly a decade at Amazon, where he most recently served as Latin America operations finance director. He also held finance leadership positions at L’Oréal and Procter & Gamble across Latin America.
Kristin Mason | Biomerics
Kristin Mason has joined medical device manufacturer Biomerics as CFO following four years in finance leadership roles at Paragon Medical, most recently as divisional vice president and business unit controller for its orthopedics business. Before Paragon Medical, she served as vice president and corporate controller at CTB and held finance leadership positions at Zimmer Biomet and Biomet. She began her career with Ernst & Young and succeeds the team of internal finance leaders that had overseen the finance function in recent months.
Lucas Bravo | Blaze Pizza
Blaze Pizza has tapped Lucas Bravo as CFO. He most recently served as senior vice president of finance and corporate treasurer at ICAT Logistics after spending nearly eight years at GoTo Foods, formerly Focus Brands, where he rose to senior vice president of finance. Bravo, who also held finance roles at Burger King, will now oversee Blaze Pizza’s finance organization, supply chain and franchise administration.
Ralph Venegas | Laser Photonics
Laser Photonics has named Ralph Venegas principal financial officer and acting chief financial officer. Venegas previously served as vice president of finance and reporting at Fonon Quantum Technologies and brings more than two decades of experience spanning public accounting, controllership and CFO roles. He replaces Roman Franklin, who had served as principal financial officer through an agreement with The CFO Portal.
