Lown joins the insurance company from commercial real estate information firm CoStar Group, where he has been finance chief since July 2024. He earlier held chief financial officer roles at Freddie Mac and Navient, following senior finance roles at Morgan Stanley and UBS. Lown succeeds Jess Merten, who was named president of property-liability in October 2025 after serving as Allstate’s finance chief for over two years. John Dugenske, president of investments and corporate strategy, has been serving as interim CFO and will continue in that role until Lown joins.

Robin Rossmann | CoStar Group

CoStar Group promoted Robin Rossmann to finance chief to replace outgoing CFO Christian Lown, effective July 31. Since July 2024, Rossmann has been CoStar Group’s managing director of Europe. Rossmann joined hospitality data firm STR in 2016, where he led its businesses across EMEA, Asia Pacific and Latin America, and became part of CoStar Group through its acquisition of STR in 2019. Before joining STR, he spent 13 years at Deloitte, where he was a senior director.

Alexis Rollier | PVH

PVH, an apparel company that owns Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger, hired Alexis Rollier as its new finance chief. Rollier, who will start the role in September, joins PVH from beauty product retailer Sephora. He joined Sephora in 2012 as its chief financial officer and chief operating officer of the Americas and has been global chief operating officer and global CFO since 2018. Earlier in his career, he was global CFO of Guerlain and held senior finance roles at Kingfisher and LVMH. Rollier replaces Melissa Stone, executive vice president of global FP&A, who has been interim CFO since January. Stone stepped in as interim CFO when Zac Coughlin left the company to become chief financial officer of SiriusXM

Erica Smith | Klaviyo

Erica Smith was appointed chief financial officer of Klaviyo, a tech company specializing in marketing automation, effective Sept. 1. Smith joins Klaviyo from CyberArk, where she has worked for more than 10 years, most recently as CFO. Earlier roles include deputy chief financial officer and senior vice president of finance and investor relations. She earlier held vice president roles at Demandware and Boston Private Financial Holdings. Smith succeeds Amanda Whalen, who is stepping down as CFO. Whalen will remain with Klaviyo until Sept. 4 and then move into an advisory role through November.

Carpenter succeeds Jason Godley, who left Xactly in May to become chief financial officer of cybersecurity company BeyondTrust.

Emily Wagner | ViaQuest

ViaQuest named Emily Wagner as chief financial officer of the behavioral and mental health provider. Wagner previously spent over six years at Bon Secours Mercy Health, where she was most recently finance chief. She was earlier a financial analyst at UC Health. ViaQuest filed a lawsuit this week against its former CFO Michael Bell and former CEO and founder Richard Johnson, alleging that the two executives embezzled millions of dollars from the company. CEO Johnson has denied the allegations in the suit.
