Ed Weber | Major League Baseball
Ed Weber was promoted to finance chief of Major League Baseball. Weber has worked at MLB for the last 18 years and was previously executive vice president and deputy CFO. Weber began his baseball career in 2006 when he became senior vice president and CFO of MLB Advanced Media. Earlier, he worked at Sirius Satellite Radio, most recently as vice president, controller and chief accounting officer. Weber succeeds Bob Starkey, who has been CFO since 2015. Starkey will remain with the league as a senior advisor.

Jeffrey Strafford | Port of Los Angeles
Port of Los Angeles interim CFO Jeffrey Strafford will take on the role permanently. Before stepping in as interim CFO in May 2024, he was the port’s director of financial planning and analysis where he oversaw teams across the division’s two sections — financial analysis and budget. Before joining the port in 2011, Strafford was the purchasing manager for the City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks and was a tax compliance officer for the City of Los Angeles Office of Finance. Strafford succeeds Marla Bleavins, who left to become chief airport administrative officer at Los Angeles World Airports.
Anthony DiSilvestro | Mattel
Anthony DiSilvestro, Mattel’s CFO, plans to retire on May 15. DiSilvestro, who has been chief financial officer of the toy manufacturer since June 2020, will take on an advisor role through Aug. 15, 2025. Mattel has initiated a search for DiSilvestro’s successor. Before joining Mattel, DiSilvestro spent over 20 years working at Campbell Soup Company, where he was most recently chief financial officer, a role he held from 2014 to 2019. DiSilvestro earlier spent over a decade at Scott Paper Company in various roles in the finance organization.

Mary Salter | Ladies Professional Golf Association
Mary Salter was named the Ladies Professional Golf Association‘s chief financial officer and treasurer. Salter joined the LPGA in 2017 as controller and was most recently executive vice president of finance. Before that, she worked at Lake County Conversion Charter Schools in Florida as its finance director for six years. She started her career at KPMG in the audit practice. Salter is also the co-founder of the Abracadabra Foundation, a nonprofit that supports and empowers teen girls.
Jakob Wegge-Larsen | Vestas
Jakob Wegge-Larsen will take over as finance chief of wind turbine maker Vestas during the second quarter of 2025. Wegge-Larsen joins the company from transportation and logistics firm DB Schenker, where he is chief financial officer and member of its management board. Before becoming DB Schenker’s CFO in 2023, Wegge-Larsen held global and regional CFO roles within the Maersk Group, Hamburg Süd and MSC Denmark. He replaces interim CFO Rasmus Gram, who will continue in the role until Jakob Wegge-Larsen starts.

Peter Hirs | Starr
Insurance and investment organization Starr appointed Peter Hirs as chief financial officer. Hirs spent the past 20 years at global insurance carrier Zurich Insurance, where he held several finance leadership roles including CFO of North America, CFO of Asia–Pacific and CFO of global corporate North America. Hirs succeeds Howard I. Smith, who has led Starr’s financial operations since 2005. Smith will retire after more than 40 years at the company.
Adam Brown | Modern Health
Modern Health named Adam Brown as chief financial officer of the workplace mental health platform. Most recently, Brown was senior vice president of financial planning and analysis and investor relations at Health Catalyst, a health care data and analytics technology and services provider. While at Health Catalyst, he helped lead it through multiple funding rounds, including its IPO, and helped manage the acquisition of six companies. Brown earlier held positions at GTCR’s private equity healthcare practice and Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s healthcare investment banking group.

Karsten Voermann | GoodRx
GoodRx CFO Karsten Voermann is resigning for personal reasons, effective January 17. Voermann joined the prescription savings platform as chief financial officer in Feb. 2020 from Mercer Advisors where he held the same position. Romin Nabiey, the GoodRx’s chief accounting officer, was named interim chief financial officer, while the company looks for Voermann’s permanent successor. Nabiey has held several roles at the company over the last seven years, including senior vice president, corporate controller and treasurer.
Krissy Wright | Endogenex
Krissy Wright was appointed finance chief of Endogenex, a clinical-stage medical device company. Wright was previously CFO of Cleerly, an AI-driven heart diagnostics company. Earlier she worked at healthcare technology company Medtronic, where she held leadership roles including vice president and general manager of brain modulation and vice president and chief financial officer for the neuromodulation operating unit. She earlier spent 11 years at PricewaterhouseCoopers, specializing in audit, assurance and transaction services.
