Neil Hansen | ExxonMobil

ExxonMobil CFO Kathryn Mikells will retire on Feb 1, 2026, to focus on her recovery after undergoing a series of medical procedures for a non-life-threatening health issue. Mikells has been CFO of the oil and gas company since 2021. Neil Hansen was named as Mikells’ successor. Hansen has worked at Exxon for the last 26 years, and since May 2025, he has been president of its Global Business Solutions division. Earlier roles include senior vice president of energy products for ExxonMobil Product Solutions and vice president of Europe, Africa and Middle East Fuels.

Barbara Larson | Workiva

Barbara Larson was named chief financial officer of financial reporting and compliance platform Workiva, effective Jan. 20, 2026. Larson has over 20 years of experience in financial leadership positions, including most recently serving as the finance chief of cybersecurity firm SentinelOne. Before that, Larson spent 10 years in financial leadership roles at Workday, including as CFO. She earlier held senior financial roles at VMware, TIBCO Software and Symantec. Larson succeeds Jill Klindt, who will leave the company on Dec. 26. Julie Iskow, the company’s president and CEO, will take over as interim CFO until Larson joins the company.

Ross Tennenbaum | Dropbox

Timothy Regan, CFO of file hosting service provider Dropbox, is stepping down after five years in the role. Regan joined Dropbox in 2016 as chief accounting officer and took over as finance chief in 2020. He will be succeeded by Ross Tennenbaum on Dec. 16. Tennenbaum was most recently president of tax software company Avalara, where he also previously worked as CFO. Before that, he spent a decade advising technology companies in investment banking roles at Goldman Sachs and Credit Suisse.

Michael Gordon | Crusoe

Crusoe appointed Michael Gordon as CFO and chief operating officer of the AI data center startup. Gordon joins the company from MongoDB, where he has been CFO since 2015. He added the role of chief operating officer in 2018. During his 10-year tenure, he led MongoDB’s IPO and grew revenue nearly 50-fold, according to Crusoe. Before MongoDB, Gordon was chief operating officer and chief financial officer of Yodle. He succeeds Matthew DeNezza, who will leave the company after holding an advisory role through 2026.

Heather Planishek | Lambda

AI cloud company Lambda appointed Heather Planishek as finance chief. Planishek most recently was CFO and chief operating officer at workflow platform Tines, a role she held for six months. She previously spent over eight years at software developer Palantir Technologies, including as chief accounting officer and head of financial reporting and technical accounting. Planishek joined Lambda’s board of directors in July and will step down from her board position as part of the transition.

Marc Winniford | MoneyGram

Marc Winniford was named chief financial officer of MoneyGram, effective February 2026. Winniford joins the global payments network from Wells Fargo, where he has been CFO of corporate and investment banking since 2022. He has held a range of senior leadership roles over his 17 years at Wells Fargo, including head of corporate finance. Winniford also spent over five years in investment banking at Lazard.

Heather Newman | Altria

Heather Newman was named finance chief of tobacco giant Altria, effective May 14, 2026. Newman joined Altria in 1999 and has been its chief strategy and growth officer since March 2022. Mancuso joined the company in 1990 and has been CFO since 2020.

Dawn Marie Savo | Wilton, Connecticut

The town of Wilton, Connecticut, has named Dawn Marie Savo as its new chief financial officer. Savo was most recently the finance director for Stratford, Connecticut, a role she has held for five years after being promoted from assistant finance director. She started her municipal career with the City of Bridgeport, moving through several finance roles, including financial manager of central grants. Savo’s appointment comes about four months after the town’s former CFO, Dawn Norton, resigned in August after it was discovered that she was holding a second full-time job in Wyoming. Norton took the Wilton CFO role in March 2022 and was appointed as a town administrator in Wyoming in May of this year.
