Guthrie, who has held the top finance spot at the company since 2018 and led its 2021 stock market listing, will remain CFO through the search for his successor and a transition period. Before Roblox, he was CFO of digital car seller TrueCar and played a key role in its initial public offering in 2014. He was previously a private equity investor at TPG, Garnett and Helfrich Capital.

Anurag Maheshwari | 3M

3M announced the appointment of Anurag Maheshwari as executive vice president and CFO, effective September 1. The company’s previous CFO, Monish Patolawala, left in early July to take on the CFO role at ADM. Maheshwari has been the CFO at Otis Worldwide for nearly five years. Before Otis, he held key roles at Harris Corporation, L3Harris and United Technologies.

AI chipmaker startup Cerebras, who confidentially filed for an initial public offering last week, announced Bob Komin as CFO. Komin previously held several chief financial officer roles including at solar company Sunrun, where he led its IPO; mobile app analytics provider Flurry, through its $200 million acquisition by Yahoo; Ticketfly, which Pandora acquired for $450 million; and Tellme Networks through its $800 million acquisition by Microsoft. He was also interim CEO, chief operating officer, CFO of Linden Lab/Second Life and CFO of Solexel, a solar PV cell manufacturer. 

Graham O’Brien | ZoomInfo

ZoomInfo’s vice president of FP&A, Graham O’Brien, was appointed interim chief financial officer, effective September 6. O’Brien joined the software and data company in 2017 and previously held financial leadership roles at DiscoverOrg, RainKing Solutions and Kaseya. He takes over for Cameron Hyzer, who will transition to an advisory role until October 7. Hyzer has worked at ZoomInfo for the last six years, where he helped grow the company to $1.2 billion in revenue and navigated its IPO process in 2020.

Amplitude hired Andrew Casey as the digital analytics platform’s new finance chief. Casey joins the company from cloud security company Lacework, where he has been CFO since 2022 and oversaw its acquisition by Fortinet. Before that, he was chief financial officer of the digital adoption platform WalkMe, where he led its initial public offering and transformed its enterprise sales motion. Earlier in his career, he held senior finance roles with ServiceNow, Hewlett-Packard, NortonLifeLock, Oracle and Sun Microsystems.

Joe Dwyer was promoted to finance chief of Golden Minerals, a precious metals exploration and development company. Dwyer has been the company’s corporate controller since joining in 2022. He previously worked as vice president and corporate controller at Kärcher North America; was director of business operations at Westmoreland Coal Company; and was senior manager of financial process and controls at Cloud Peak Energy. Dwyer replaces Julie Weedman, who will retire on August 15.

Kooyman most recently held the same position at the energy transition business Charger Ready Properties. She also held the top finance spot at Certarus, a distributor of low-carbon energy solutions. During her leadership at Certarus, the company saw its adjusted EBITDA double and was acquired by Superior Plus for over $1 billion in 2023. She earlier held roles at Brookfield Corporation, TD Securities and RBC Capital Markets.

Nicholas Asadorian was appointed interim chief financial officer of GoTo. Asadorian has been a part of the GoTo team for over eight years, where he was most recently vice president of corporate financial planning and analysis. Earlier experience includes nearly a decade at Dell EMC, where he held several key roles across the corporate finance organization. Asadorian takes over CFO duties from CEO Rich Veldran, who took on the additional role of CFO after his appointment to CEO in January 2024.

Anderson brings over 20 years of executive experience in banking, corporate finance and investments, including CFO positions at the Premier Bank of Arkansas and the First Community Bank of Eastern Arkansas. Anderson is also a certified fraud examiner.
