Markus Neubrand | Guess

Markus Neubrand is stepping down as CFO of apparel maker and retailer Guess after a year in the role. Neubrand joined from luxury fashion brand MCM Worldwide, where he was global CFO. Dennis Secor will take over as interim chief financial officer on Aug. 26 while they look for Neubrand’s permanent replacement. Secor, who is currently executive vice president of finance at the company, previously was interim CFO of the company from April 2022 until Neubrand’s arrival in July 2023. He also held the top finance spot at the company from 2006 to 2012. In addition to being CFO of Guess, he has also held CFO positions at Fossil Group, Electronic Arts Canada and Torrid. 

Glenn Coleman | Premier

Glenn Coleman was named CFO of Premier, a technology-driven healthcare improvement company. Coleman will take over the top finance spot on Nov. 11 to replace Craig McKasson, who will retire on Dec. 30 and will work as a strategic adviser to the company through 2026. Coleman will join the company from dental equipment manufacturer Dentsply Sirona, where he has been CFO since 2022. Coleman previously held roles at Integra LifeSciences Holdings, including as executive vice president and chief operating officer and chief financial officer.

Principal Financial Group’s current executive vice president and CFO, Deanna Strable, has been named its new president and chief operating officer. Strable has been chief financial officer since 2017 and before that, she was president of the company’s workplace benefits and insurance business. She joined Principal in 1990 as an actuarial assistant and has held various actuarial and management roles throughout her nearly 35-year career at the global financial company.

Mid-atlantic grocery chain The Giant Company has promoted their current CFO Rebecca Lupfer to senior vice president and chief merchant, effective immediately. Lupfer was named the company’s CFO less than a year ago, and has worked for The Giant Company in various roles since 2018. Prior to that, she worked for over 12 years at global food retailer Ahold Services. A new finance chief of The Giant Company has not been named. 

Kelly Steckelberg | Zoom

Kelly Steckelberg is resigning as CFO of video communication firm Zoom. Steckelberg has been finance chief since 2017 and led its IPO in 2019. Steckelberg is staying at the company through Q3 earnings. Zoom has already started the search for her successor. Steckelberg previously held several leadership roles at technology companies, including CEO of Zoosk, and various roles in finance at Cisco, Webex, Epiphany, PeopleSoft, and KPMG.

Workplace experience platform ​​CXApp appointed Joy Mbanugo as chief financial officer. Mbanugo most recently worked at ServiceRocket, a cloud-based IT service provider, where she was CFO. She earlier spent five years at Google in financial planning, analysis and reporting for cloud partnerships at Google Cloud. At Google, she helped optimize profit margins on major deals and contributed to one of the largest financial system transformations in the company’s history. She started her career at Ernst & Young, where she was a consultant for 11 years. 

Joseph A. Lovechio | Gibraltar

Joseph A. Lovechio was appointed chief financial officer of Gibraltar, a manufacturer of products and services for the residential, renewable energy, agriculture technology and infrastructure markets. Lovechio joins the company after working at Whirlpool for 20 years. Since 2018, he has been CFO of Whirlpool’s largest region, North America. Earlier roles at Whirlpool include corporate controller and principal accounting officer, CFO of its EMEA region and senior finance director of investor relations. Lovechio succeeds Timothy F. Murphy, who is retiring. Murphy will continue to work with the company through early 2025.

Before that, he was group chief financial officer at banking and private equity group Salamanca Group. He succeeds Hilton Hess, who has been CFO since 2020.

Cloud communications platform Infobip appointed Yariv Dafna as finance chief. Yariv joins the company from Evoke, a betting and gaming company, where he was group CFO. Before that, he worked at Telit Communications, an integrated products and services provider to support and enable Internet of Things deployments, for 13 years, most recently as president and group CFO. He started his career at Deloitte as an audit manager.

Satellite communications company Iridium promoted Vincent O’Neill to chief financial officer. O’Neill joined Iridium in 2014 as its vice president of financial planning and analysis and is currently senior vice president of finance. Before that, he was CFO of wireless infrastructure company Mobilitie and previously spent 10 years at Nextel Sprint in several senior finance roles. O’Neill succeeds Thomas J. Fitzpatrick, who plans to retire at the end of the year.
