1. ICBA CFO Forum
The CFO Forum held by the Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA) is scheduled for August 26-27 in Indianapolis, Indiana, at the Omni Severin Hotel. This event will address key topics including tax, accounting, CECL, deposit funding, risk and cybersecurity.
Notable speakers: James Reber, president and CEO of ICBA Securities and Jennifer Sanders, Mike Osaski and David Rabb, who all hold positions at Forvis Mazars.
2. Council of Institutional Investors Fall Conference
The Council of Institutional Investors Fall Conference will be held from September 9-11, in Brooklyn, New York, at the New York Marriott Brooklyn Bridge. This event features topics on capital allocation strategy, the future of work and pension allocations. Registration costs vary based on the type of attendee.

3. FinovateFall
FinovateFall also takes place on September 9-11 in Manhattan, New York, at the Marriott Marquis in Times Square. The three-day event encompasses fintech, AI, blockchain and the metaverse. It also features its signature start-up demos from CEOs mostly in the technology space.
Notable speakers: Ken Hughes, consumer behaviorist; Donna M. Murphy, deputy comptroller for compliance risk policy at the OCC; Eric McCabe, head of embedded finance at Citizens Bank; and Mohammad Rasoul, AI expert for investment at Stanford University.
4. The TMANY New York Cash Exchange
The Treasury Management Association of New York (TMANY) cash exchange this year will be held in Manhattan, New York on September 10-11 at the Javits Center. It will have a strong focus on treasury, accounting, FP&A, accounts payable/receivable, capital markets and banking. Admission is free for speakers and TMANY members.
Notable speakers: Timothy Hesler, assistant treasurer at New York University; Bradley Costantino, senior manager of global treasury, Under Armour; and Linda Miller CEO and founder, Audient Group.
5. NAFCU CFO Summit + CFO Forum
The National Association of Federally-Insured Credit Unions (NAFCU) is hosting its CFO Summit + CFO Forum in Greenville, South Carolina, from September 16-19 at the Hyatt Regency Greenville. This event will focus on key topics relevant to credit union CFOs, such as fraud prevention, mergers and acquisitions, loan pricing, net interest margin and new banking and deposit strategies.
Notable speakers: Ed Lis, CFO, First Choice Financial FCU; Brett Fisher, CFO, Skyla Credit Union; and Karen Haas, CFO, Illinois Credit Union League.
6. CFO Leadership Conference West 2024
The CFO Leadership Conference West is scheduled to take place from October 7-9 in Dallas, Texas, at The Statler Dallas Curio. The CFOLC’s second conference West Conference will cover critical topics, including global volatility, storytelling skills, breakouts on technology and more.

7. New York CFO Executive Summit
The New York CFO Executive Summit for this year is scheduled for October 17 in Manhattan, New York, at the downtown Conrad Hotel. This event will focus on key topics such as artificial intelligence, data management, cost efficiency and talent acquisition.

8. Finance and Accounting Tech Expo (FATE)
The Finance and Accounting Tech Expo (FATE) is set to take place from October 28-30 in Manhattan, New York, at the Javits Center. This expo will delve into essential topics such as digital transformation, artificial intelligence, supply chain management and reporting strategies. Those in attendance will have the opportunity to engage with industry leaders and explore new trends and technologies making an impact in the finance and accounting sectors.

The World Finance Forum will take place on December 12 in Manhattan, New York — the exact location is still to be determined. In previous events, topics like CFO-CEO relationship building and CFO succession planning have also been discussed.
